- What we see is an obvious attack on security and safety and ultimately our democracy.

I do not think that in every situation we can turn away and show meanness, but must show where the border goes, says Stefan Gustafsson, municipal councilor (KD) in Sävsjö.

- Do you perceive that the police have shown meanness towards the perpetrators of violence during the riots?

- I understand that the police themselves have described that they withdrew because they were afraid of being injured.

And there I think you have to think about when to use the monopoly of violence that the police have, says Stefan Gustafsson (KD).

Ebba Busch said in Ekot's Saturday interview that the police should have fired sharply at the perpetrators during the weekend's riots.

She also asked why we do not have "100 injured Islamists, 100 injured criminals, 100 injured insurgents".

- But to shoot at crowds - is it a passable road?

- It is not a political assessment when the police are to use force, but the police must make those assessments themselves.

But I think a limit is crossed when 100 police officers are injured without using the counter-weapons you have, says Stefan Gustafsson (KD).

Andreas Stureson (KD), municipal councilor in Jönköping, does not want to comment on Ebba Busch's proposal.

- It is not my job to comment on national politics, says Andreas Sturesson (KD).
