Jordan..Control a fire in the Great Omari Mosque in the city of Ramtha

Jordanian media said that the civil defense forces were able to control a fire that ravaged parts of the Great Omari Mosque in the city of Ramtha, in the north of the kingdom.

She pointed out that the firefighting teams made great efforts to control and extinguish the flames, which affected parts of the mosque, while local media indicated that "initial information indicates that the cause of the fire is a short circuit."

It should be noted that no official statement has been issued so far, explaining the causes of the fire and the extent of the damage it caused.

Al-Omari Mosque is considered one of the oldest mosques in Al-Ramtha and is located in the center of the city, which currently includes the commercial market.
