A police officer was hit and injured by a driver during an arrest this Thursday in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis).

Three officials then got out of the car to check the driver.

But the latter refused to comply and restarted his car.

After crashing into a first vehicle, he hit a policeman who was trying to block his road.

Sandwiched with another car at the level of the legs, the victim began to "scream in pain", according to his colleagues.

After hitting another car and then a stud, the driver finally fled on foot.

He was arrested and taken into custody.

Slightly injured in the knees and in a state of shock, the policeman was taken care of by the emergency services.
