"Syria calls on representatives of various countries and international organizations, especially the OPCW, to realize the danger of chemical provocations," SANA quoted the statement as saying.
It is noted that the Syrian Foreign Ministry requires a serious approach of the international community to this issue.
Earlier, Russia's Permanent Representative to the OPCW, Alexander Shulgin, announced an increase in the threat of the use of chemical weapons by Ukrainian nationalists for provocative purposes.
