It seems that the Democratic Party, which was speeding up to enforce the bill abolishing the prosecution's investigation authority, is taking a break.

As National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok ordered a discussion between the ruling and opposition parties, it was decided to temporarily suspend the agenda coordination committee of the National Assembly Judiciary Committee, which was expected yesterday (21st).

Reporter Hwa Kang-yoon reports.

Assembly Judiciary Committee's Agenda Coordination Committee, which will review the Inspection and Complete Bill, was formed yesterday and the meeting was expected to be held, but it was temporarily put on hold.

"As the ruling and opposition parties are negotiating an arbitration plan led by National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok," said Park Gwang-on, chairman of the Democratic Party's Judiciary Committee.

Chairman Park said, "I will be able to decide how to proceed with the agenda conciliation committee after watching the discussion of the arbitration plan by the National Assembly first."

However, he added, "If negotiations on the mediation plan do not yield results, it may be necessary to form an agenda mediation committee to deal with the proposals discussed in the second lieutenant based on the Democratic Party's original draft," he added.

The People's Power also announced a general meeting of the National Assembly at 10 am today, and it seems that the Speaker of the National Assembly will discuss whether to accept the arbitration plan.

If arbitration fails and the Agenda Mediation Committee is composed of Rep. Min Hyung-bae, who left the Democratic Party, the composition of the committee will lean toward the Democratic Party, and it is highly likely that the Agenda Mediation Committee will end soon and the bill will be presented to the Judiciary Committee immediately.

In this plenary session, it is possible for the Democratic Party to pass alone, and it will be followed by the order of the plenary session.

In this case, the People's Power plans to file an objection immediately.

The conflict of interest is that the bill proposed by Rep. Min is included in the agenda of the Agenda Mediation Committee.

Conversely, if the Agenda Mediation Committee is composed of an equal number of pros and cons as the people claim, mediation can last up to 90 days, so the passage of the bill is expected to be opaque.
