China News Agency, Los Angeles, April 20. A plane crash occurred in the southern California city of Sylma on April 20, killing the pilot.

  According to news from the US media and the Los Angeles Fire Department, a fixed-wing aircraft crashed near Harbert Street in Sylmar at about 12:30 local time on the 20th, and the crash site was close to the 210 Freeway.

There was a small amount of fuel leaking at the scene, but luckily there was no fire.

The plane crashed into the roadside trees and did not hit other vehicles.

  It can be seen from the live video that the wreckage of the red and white plane was scattered on the ground, more than a dozen fire and emergency personnel launched a search and rescue, and a number of police cars blocked the nearby lanes.

Firefighters recovered the body of one of the victims from the wreckage of the plane.

The FAA confirmed in a statement that the twin-engine Cessna 337 Skymaster had crashed that day with only one pilot on board.

  The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the accident.
