He pinned both "a president in his arrogance who has never been really seriously challenged by Marine Le Pen", and the performance of the far-right candidate: "the first barrage on the far right, c is almost her (...) Macron made fun of her by laying bare", in particular the fact that she "does not propose a real increase in wages" and that on secularism, "it's Le Pen father back".
"Mélenchon can lead the country for five years"
Will Alexis Corbière therefore vote for Emmanuel Macron on Sunday, while Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who came third in the first round, called for "not giving a vote to Marine Le Pen"?
"I didn't say that at all," he replied, criticizing "a false social candidate" on the one hand, Emmanuel Macron's "socio-reactionary projects" on the other.
To a listener saying she had voted Mélenchon in the first round but planning to vote for Le Pen in the second, he replied that she was "wrong to give (her) voice to people who are (her) opponents in truth".
"But, good news, there are the elections in June (...): we can win, we can have the popular majority and Jean-Luc Mélenchon can lead this country for five years" through cohabitation, said estimated Alexis Corbière, two days after Mélenchon's call to the French to "elect Prime Minister" by voting for a "majority of rebels" and "members of the Popular Union" on June 12 and 19.
