The FAS reported in August 2021 that Apple is abusing its dominant position in the application market and prohibits informing users about alternative, more profitable ways to pay for goods than through the App Store service, RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that the company did not comply with the requirements of the supervisory authority to remove the violation, in connection with which in October the FAS initiated an antitrust case against Apple.

Earlier, Apple notified the National Payment Card System that it was suspending support for MIR cards in the Apple Pay payment service.
