Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen clashed on Wednesday evening during the traditional debate between the two rounds.

For almost three hours, the candidates debated the program.

This Thursday, the French judged the performance of the outgoing president better and confirm that this debate has not changed anything in their choice of vote.

15.6 million French people watched the debate between Marine Le Pen and Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday evening on all channels.

This is the worst audience since the creation of this meeting between the two rounds in 1974. But will this debate influence the choice of the French for the second round on Sunday?

Europe 1 asked you the question.

A clear trend for Emmanuel Macron

All the voters met have the same answer.

"It confirmed me in my vote," says a woman.

"It reinforced my choices," adds another.

Finally, a third person questioned affirms that this debate will make her "stay on her initial posture".

A confirmation linked to the attitude of the candidates and their program, but also to their positions.

Most voters surveyed certify that they will slip Emmanuel Macron's ballot into the ballot box.

The outgoing president, considered more convincing during the debate: "it was clear, he supported his ideas", explains a person questioned.

Another book her own analysis of the debate: "Marine Le Pen was often destabilized by the knowledge of Macron".

"I found her more sure of herself than in 2017. For once, I think it's a shipwreck for her in 2017," said a woman interviewed.

"This debate showed us that Marine Le Pen could still be quite calm and calm in her thinking," concludes a voter.
