The allegations weigh heavily and must be cleared up: More and more members of the left are being accused of sexual assault, toxic masculinity, cover-ups and abuse of power.

In particular, the Hessian state association and the Wiesbaden district association have become focal points of the scandal, which threatens to tear the party apart.

In Hesse, two employees were released, another honorary politician is also accused.

However, there are also doubts as to whether all allegations to this extent are true.

Accused persons who were referred to by name as "sex offenders" in a closed chat group have filed criminal charges for defamation.

State security is now investigating.

One of the alleged victims is said to have described left-wing members on Twitter as "miserable dogs" and demanded: "Nuremberg trials must become practice again." The FAZ has the screenshots.

"Macker Massacre Rhein-Main"

A system of fear and insecurity apparently prevails within the left.

One of the accused reports that he was first accused of sexually molesting minors on Instagram.

This accusation is no longer made today.

According to its own statement, the Wiesbaden public prosecutor's office had recently closed several investigations against left-wing politicians, which were based on reports, due to a lack of suspicion.

There are currently no new or current procedures, it said.

"To this day I don't know who the victim is supposed to be," says the man, who doesn't want his name published.

Despite the extension of the deadline, the alleged victim did not specify the allegations in proceedings before the Wiesbaden Regional Court,

"They want to destroy me," says the local politician.

For example, there are closed chat groups at Telegram with names like “Macker Massaker Rhein-Main” and “Feminism or Brawl”, in which he and other suspects are denigrated by name.

The background to the allegations is apparently also a private party that involved drinking games with young members of the left, but also with other factions.

Some partygoers played "Truth or Dare," a more adolescent game that may involve drinking alcohol or being kissed, among other things.

“No one was forced to drink alcohol or be kissed.

Some party guests simply didn't play along," the accused describes the evening on which he acted as host.

He denies

fear of exclusion

In order to prove this, he asked guests for a statement during the processing of the allegations.

Some party-goers followed this request, while others did not.

“In some district associations of the left there are now lists of politicians who should not be re-elected due to allegations of sexism.

I am on such a list myself,” says the accused.

Therefore, some of the guests refused to make a statement.

They would have been afraid of ending up on such a list if they had stood by him.

"I've never had a sexual relationship with any member of the left-wing youth," says the politician, adding: "I haven't resisted until now because I was afraid." that he had exploited such a thing was absurd.

"I'm the idiot and I've had enough," says the man.

He has been insulted for months even though he has done nothing.

"I'm a feminist," he continues, and he also understands that there are women who hate patriarchy.

In his case, however, he suspects that the alleged victim's aim is to "smash the party".

"I'm afraid that the left won't survive, but that's not because of the allegations, but because of the way the allegations are dealt with," he is convinced.

The young woman apparently sees it that way.

She tweeted about Easter: "I think Good Friday is a ban on dancing, but today I'm dancing on #DieLinke's grave".
