It was in mid-November last year that the accident occurred along the E45 in the interior of Norrbotten.
The vehicle, a passenger car converted to an A-tractor, was driven on winter road conditions and the journey came to an abrupt end when the driver lost control and drove into the ditch.
A fellow passenger was injured and now the 16-year-old is charged with three crimes, negligence in traffic, causing bodily injury and illegal driving.
The defendant denies the crime.
The evidence includes testimonies and technical examinations of the vehicle.
The negotiations will take place in Gällivare District Court and are expected to take 3-4 hours.
