The Project "On the Study of Russian Targets in the Framework of Nuclear Negotiations" recommends that US President Joe Biden send a report to the foreign affairs committees of the House of Representatives and the Senate listing the benefits that "Russia will receive as a result of concluding a nuclear agreement with Iran."

As specified, the head of state will have to submit such a document within five days after the parties come to a consensus on the deal.

In the report, among other things, it will be necessary to talk about “the role of Russian negotiators in developing and agreeing on an agreement”, as well as describe the expected “economic and technological benefits that can be obtained by the defense sector and the nuclear industry in Russia.”

In addition, the report should contain an analysis of "new ways to circumvent sanctions that will become available to Moscow."

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that negotiations on the resumption of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program had reached the finish line.

For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian noted that the absence of a US decision to lift sanctions hinders the achievement of final results in the negotiations.
