The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, praised the heroic stance of the Almoravids facing the repeated Israeli raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque in the month of Ramadan, while the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait called on imams of mosques to pray in the Witr Qunoot of Tarawih prayers and prayers for the people of Palestine.

Al-Khalili said in a tweet on Twitter, "Just as we are pleased and admire the heroic stance taken by the Al-Mourabitoun in Al-Quds Al-Sharif to protect it from desecrating the abomination of the Zionist occupation, so we pray and pray to God that these heroes extend his victory and strengthen them with his angels."

Al-Khalili criticized the failure of the Islamic nation, especially the Arabs, to support their brothers in occupied Jerusalem, denouncing the haste of some who called them to the breakfast table with the enemy, to obtain from them abundant luck as if they are irreplaceable spoils.

We are also pleased and amazed at the heroic stance that the Al-Mourabitoun take in #Al-Quds Al-Sharif to protect it from desecration by the abomination of the Zionist occupation.

We are astonished and puzzled by this indifference that included the Islamic nation - especially the Arabs - about supporting their brothers pic.twitter.com/krsqiVUKq9

In Kuwait, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs for the Mosques Sector, Bader Al-Otaibi, issued an administrative circular inviting imams and muezzins to pray in the Witr Qunoot of Tarawih prayers and prayers for the people of Palestine during the nights of the blessed month of Ramadan.

And the circular stated, "It is not hidden from you that our brothers in the land of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque are subjected to flagrant violations by the Zionist entity, so please pray for our brothers in the land of Palestine in Qunoot Al-Witr of Tarawih prayers and standing on these blessed nights."

Settlers storm the mosque’s courtyards, under police guard, on all days of the week, except for Friday and Saturday.

The storming of settlers, this week, acquires a special sensitivity, given that it coincides with the Jewish Passover holiday, which began last Friday evening, and continues until Thursday.
