On the 19th, the Supreme Court of Thailand held the first hearing on the case of the former Prime Minister Yingluck Yingluck and other 6 people accused by the National Anti-Corruption Commission on January 28 on charges of abuse of power, interference in fair competition, and personal fraud.
The first defendant, former Prime Minister Yingluck Yingluck, entrusted a lawyer to appear in court.
The court ordered another hearing at 9:30 a.m. local time on September 12.
At the same time, the Supreme Court of Thailand issued an arrest warrant for Yingluck on the grounds that she was absent from court for no reason, and approved the arrest of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
The Supreme Court of Thailand has previously issued arrest warrants for Yingluck, who is in exile.
