The parquet floor of Grenoble (Isère) announced on Tuesday that it had opened an investigation after several suspicious bites suffered by residents during parties.

Six complaints have already been filed in this case, reports France Info.

The victims, four men and two women aged 17 to 22, felt a sting during nightclub parties or at a concert between April 15 and 17.

The facts occurred in Grenoble itself and in the neighboring town of Saint-Ismier.

No rape or sexual assault

The victims "felt a sting and felt bad," said the Grenoble public prosecutor on Tuesday.

None of the six victims was fortunately the victim of rape or sexual assault as a result of these stings.

The investigation concerns the administration of harmful substances, while similar cases are occurring more and more frequently in France.
