The Investigative Committee reported that on April 19, in cooperation with the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard, six more gang members involved in the attack were detained in Tatarstan and St. Petersburg.

“They are all residents of Tatarstan: Khaidar Razzakov, Airat Kamaletdinov, Eduard Valiakhmetov, Ilgam Gumerov, Ilgiz Mukhametgaliev and Mukhamedvali Shaikhutdinov,” the UK said.

The detainees were charged under Art.

279 of the Criminal Code, part 2 of Art.

209, Art.

317 of the Criminal Code of Russia (armed rebellion, participation in a gang and encroachment on the life of military personnel).

The investigation establishes the role and specific actions of the accused in the course of the attack.

As the Investigative Committee recalled, many years of painstaking work of the investigation made it possible to identify many persons involved in the attack on the paratroopers, "clearly demonstrating the principle of the inevitability of punishment."

In 2000, almost the entire personnel of the 6th Pskov parachute company died in the Argun Gorge: out of 90 military personnel, only six survived.

The "Blue Berets" became a barrier on the way of about 2.5 thousand militants who intended to make a breakthrough near the village of Ulus-Kert, in an unequal battle, with the support of artillery, the paratroopers destroyed up to 400 bandits.
