“I didn’t commit fraudulent actions, I don’t intend to oppose the investigation,” one of the members of the commission quoted Lyalin, who visited the temporary detention center at 38 Petrovka, where the former lawyer has been held since April 16.
According to the human rights activist, Vadim Lyalin has no complaints about the conditions of detention.
“This is the best institution of its kind, I visited it as a lawyer, now I have seen it from the inside.
Wonderful lunches, today there were chicken noodles, pilaf with chicken, compote, boiling water is brought upon request,” Lyalin said.
According to TASS, Moscow's Basmanny Court arrested Lyalin on suspicion of particularly large-scale fraud.
According to the agency, the investigation considers him involved in receiving money for services that he actually did not provide.
An RT source said that Lyalin allegedly returned the money received to former clients.
Vadim Lyalin is known for having previously represented the interests of football player Roman Shirokov and the former wife of football player Pavel Mamaev, as well as some artists.
