A couple of pimps were sentenced to three years' imprisonment, including eighteen months suspended by the criminal court of Nîmes.

The judges condemned them for organizing a network of South American prostitutes in 17 medium-sized towns in France, including the Gard prefecture, between 2019 and 2022.

The man, a Peruvian, and his companion, a Venezuelan, were content to take care of the logistics, but exerted no pressure on the girls, which they all confirmed to the investigators.

Confiscation of monies seized

At their home in Aix-en-Provence, the investigators discovered thirteen cell phones, but also 17,100 euros and 4,100 dollars in cash.

In addition to their sentence with continued detention, the court ordered the confiscation of the sums seized.
