During the Easter weekend, violent riots broke out in several cities in connection with Stram course leader Rasmus Paludan planning to hold demonstrations and burn the Koran.

Among other things, he had received permission for a gathering in Landskrona, which was later moved to Malmö.

However, it never got rid of, but in both cities, violence broke out with stone-throwing and car fires.

Planning new attempts

Rasmus Paludan is now planning new demonstrations as early as next week in Landskrona, Linköping, Norrköping, Örebro, Borås and Trollhättan next week.

- We can not guarantee that there will be no form of unrest or disturbance in society if Paudan comes here, but we can guarantee that we will do our utmost together with all actors to take responsibility for the society we want, says Carina Leffler , city director in the city of Landskrona.

In the clip above, you hear what the city director of Landskrona says about the question of giving Paludan permission for new demonstrations.

No permit application has yet been received by the police in Region South, but if this is done, the police are expected to make a decision next week on how to handle it.
