The police are looking for the man who assaulted a 21-year-old young woman early this Saturday morning in Osny (Val-d'Oise).

The victim was stabbed several times on her way to the station to go to work.

She was notably injured in the face and could lose the use of one of her eyes, reports

Witnesses warned the emergency services, which took charge of the young woman and took her to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris.

The Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Val-d'Oise indicated on Monday that the days of the victim had at no time been in danger.

An upcoming audition

The police should be able to question the latter soon.

However, they did not wish to comment or confirm information circulating on social networks about the violence.

A publication had claimed that the attacker had raped the young woman and hit her with an iron bar before stabbing her.
