Emirates doubles its service to Algeria with two more flights from May 1
Emirates Airlines announced the enhancement of its service to and from Algeria in response to the high demand for travel.
As of May 1, 2022, the airline will operate four flights per week between Dubai and Algiers, instead of the current two flights per week.
The service between Algeria and Dubai no longer passes through Tunisia, which provides more flexibility and comfort for travel from Algeria to Dubai or through it to the various stations of the Emirates Airlines network, which covers more than 130 destinations.
Emirates Airlines serves its flights between Dubai and Algeria, with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The two new flights will operate on Saturday and Sunday, in addition to the existing two flights on Tuesday and Thursday.
Flight EK 757 takes off from Dubai International Airport at 8:45 am, and arrives in Algiers at 12:55 pm.
The return flight "EK 758" departs Houari Boumediene Airport in Algiers at 3:45 pm and arrives in Dubai at 1:05 am.
Emirates Director in Algeria Omar Al-Humairi said, "We have witnessed a noticeable increase in demand for travel to and from Algeria, especially to Dubai and beyond to other destinations across our network that gradually open or ease restrictions. And based on our commitment to Algeria, we hope by increasing flights. Supporting the movement of travelers to and from countries that are moving forward on the path to economic recovery after the pandemic.
He added, "We started serving Algeria about 10 years ago, connecting Algerians to the world and providing a world-class experience on board, prioritizing the health and safety of our customers. We look forward to strengthening our services further in the future to provide better travel options for our customers as demand grows."
