The 100-year-old Brazilian man is the longest-serving person in the world.



According to Brazilian media on the 19th local time, Bauter Ortmann, who works for the Brusky Garment Fabric Company in Bali Du Itazai City, Santa Catarina State, is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the person with the longest working life.



Bauter entered the front line of life to earn money from the age of 12, and since January 17, 1938, when he was 15, he officially took a job at the company, and has been working there for 84 years.



He said that at the time he did not have electricity and it was a difficult situation to supply drinking water from the well, but he worked silently without thinking of moving to another company.



He introduced his daily routine that he goes to work every Monday to Friday and handles almost everything with his smartphone and tablet, saying, "Compared to when I first started working, the world has changed tremendously."
