The Director General of Central Operations in Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al Hamidi, pointed out the danger of some drivers harassing vehicles traveling in front of them on the road and approaching them to a very close distance and forcing them to evacuate the road to them by using reflective lights or the horn constantly, which leads to dispersal The focus of the driver of the front vehicle increases the risk of serious traffic accidents.


He explained that the fine for not leaving a sufficient safety distance behind the front vehicles, amounts to 400 dirhams and four traffic points, according to the text of Article (52) of the executive regulations amending the Federal Traffic and Traffic Law, pointing out that all road users must abide by traffic and traffic regulations and laws, and abide by In the right lane when driving at slow speeds, leaving enough safety distance to avoid accidents, and keep everyone safe.
