Before the deputies, the head of the Moroccan government insists on the difficult current context, at the international and national level, marked by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the global health crisis and the low rainfall recorded in the kingdom.
According to Aziz Akhannouch, the growth rate forecast for this year has been revised downwards: between 1.5% and 1.7% instead of the 3.2% provided for in the finance law.
The head of the executive affirms that the government remains attached to its commitments, in particular on the social aspect.
It highlights in particular the financial aid of nearly 200 million euros allocated to transport professionals, in a context of soaring fuel and food prices.
However, in the ranks of the opposition, certain voices (in particular within the party of progress and socialism) criticize the exorbitant margins of the oil companies and call on the government to cap them and avoid conflicts of interest.
