President Moon Jae-in and Prosecutor General Kim Oh-su met yesterday (18th) at 5 pm at the Blue House and talked for about an hour and 10 minutes.

During the meeting, President Kim explained his concerns about the bill to President Moon, and he not only opposed the bill, but also suggested alternatives, the Blue House said.

President Moon also expressed his trust in President Kim, and the Prosecutor General was not responsible for the current situation, so he urged him to keep his term and fulfill his role.

He also said, "It is important for the prosecutor general to directly submit opinions on behalf of the prosecutors," he said.

By re-appointing President Oh-su Kim, he reaffirmed that he had no intention of accepting his resignation.

There were also calls to the prosecution, the National Assembly, and both sides.

First, he emphasized the need for self-reform and self-correction, saying that opinions on the prosecution should be expressed in an orderly manner while respecting the authority of the National Assembly.

Regarding the National Assembly, "Reforms, legislation, and things should be for the people."

While expressing concern about the prosecution's collective action, it is interpreted as a request for the prosecution and the National Assembly to seek a compromise that meets the public's expectations through dialogue.
