“Today we said goodbye to Alexander Grigoryevich Chirva from Sevastopol,” he said in his Telegram channel.

Razvozhaev noted that Chirva was the commander of the large landing ship "Caesar Kunikov" of the 197th brigade of landing ships of the Black Sea Fleet.

According to the governor of Sevastopol, Chirva died as a result of wounds received in battle with Ukrainian neo-Nazis.

At the same time, Razvozhaev added that the courage and experience of Chirva "saved the lives of the crew members."

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a video of the destruction of the command post of a mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Iskanders.
