Israeli media reported that Emirati planes will participate for the first time in an air show that will be held to celebrate the so-called "Israeli Independence Day", the anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.

The Emirati planes participating in the air show are owned by Etihad and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, and will arrive in Israel in early May.

The show, organized by the Israel Pilots Association, will be held on May 5, to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the declaration of the establishment of Israel, and Israeli airlines, including El Al, Israir Airlines and Arkia, will participate.

The show will take place at a very low altitude of only 100 feet on the coast from Acre in the north to Ashdod in the south.

It is noteworthy that the Emirati participation in the Israeli air show comes at a time when the occupation is escalating its storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, as well as carrying out arrests in occupied Jerusalem and a number of areas of the West Bank.

Abu Dhabi had officially normalized its relations with Tel Aviv in August 2021 after mediation by the administration of former US President Donald Trump, and since then the steps of cooperation between the UAE and Israel have accelerated in various fields through the exchange of visits and the signing of agreements.
