Anwar Gargash, the main speaker of the seventh session of the forum, stressed the importance of owning the narrative in the media coverage of the achievements in the UAE, and said: "The UAE is a great success story that we need to have its details narrated," stressing the pivotal role of the Emirati media in conveying the state's message to the world and expressing its clear positions. .

Gargash hinted at the need to pay attention to specialization in our local media, especially with the UAE standing on the threshold of a new development stage that needs to shed more light on issues of interest to the recipient, especially young people, and that the focus should not be only on the political issue, but that there are qualitative issues worthy of attention such as issues of Climate, environment, health and food, and other topics related to the future industry, stressing that the specialization opens the way for the Emirati media to achieve Arab leadership, especially with the UAE hosting more major and major global events, most notably the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP - 28), which is considered the most important and largest international gathering of climate action with the participation of world leaders and leaders.

The diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State stressed the need to pay attention to the development of media content, which constitutes the depth of handling and presentation that distinguishes traditional media, especially the readable, from communication platforms, as he pointed out that traditional forms such as opinion columns, long articles and analysis are a model for specialized content that Arab media lack. In general, expressing his conviction that the depth of presentation and analysis represents the competitive limit that can be distinguished by the media against sources of information based on communication platforms, with an interest in developing the template and shifting to new business models such as paid media as a means of developing media capabilities. 


Gargash expressed his conviction of the need to accept the fact that the UAE, during the next stage, will be under the microscope more in parallel with the growth of the UAE role and the increase in its positive impact at the regional and international levels, stressing that the UAE has chosen to have stability, prosperity, settlement of problems and openness as its focus in the next stage.
