A report from the Swedish Agency for Youth and Civil Society Affairs shows that young LGBTQ people in Sweden are exposed to pressure to change their sexual orientation.
It occurs in both verbal and mental form, the survey shows.
Abby, who lives in Uppsala County and defines herself as trans, is one of those affected - and the pressure can come from all possible directions.
- They are classmates, teachers, friends, family ... They are afraid that things will change and they will not keep up.
In an attempt to stop the change, they try to work against it, says Abby.
