“The current export quotas for Russian producers of mineral fertilizers have been temporarily increased by almost 700,000 tons,” the statement said.

The decision will be valid until May 31 of this year.

At the same time, the export quota for nitrogen fertilizers was increased by 231,000 tons to about 5.7 million tons, while the export quota for complex fertilizers was increased by 466,000 tons to about 5.6 million tons.

"Until May 31, quotas do not apply to the supply of fertilizers to the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as Abkhazia and South Ossetia," the message says.

Earlier it was reported that France was concerned about the increase in prices for fertilizers against the backdrop of anti-Russian sanctions.

Prior to this, American and German farmers spoke about the impact of anti-Russian restrictions.
