Two years ago, 75 years after Germany's capitulation in World War II, Russia celebrated a huge victory parade in Moscow on 9 May.

100,000 soldiers, equivalent to about ten percent of the Russian armed forces, were deployed for the parade.

This is previously described by Lieutenant Colonel Jörgen Elfving in SVT's Morgonstudion.

- A lot of time is spent on things that are not directly capacity-enhancing, he says.
