With Russia occupying most of the southern Ukraine city of Mariupol, they sent an ultimatum to spare if they surrender.

The Ukrainian army refused to do so and strengthened its will to fight back.

On the other side, you can see an industrial park where the Ukrainian National Guard is fighting, and separatist rebels are besieging the area around it.



Earlier, the Russian army sent an ultimatum saying, "If you surrender, I will spare you."



However, the Ukrainian government insisted that Mariupol's army did not surrender and that this was the red line of the negotiations and that it was determined to fight back.

Ukrainian President Zelensky reiterated his intention not to give up Mariupol and the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.



"If Russia captures Donbas, it could make another attempt to capture the capital, Kiiu," Zelensky said.



Initially, Russia launched a general offensive in the northern regions, including the capital, Kiiu, but withdrew due to strong resistance.



In the midst of this, the European Union has urged member states to provide prompt arms assistance to Ukraine.
