“In particular, the video hosting administration blocked the channels of the State TV and Radio Company Stavropol, Krasnodar, Bashkortostan, Novosibirsk, Kuzbass and Vainakh of the Chechen Republic,” the department specified.

It is noted that the restrictive measures introduced against the Russian media violate the key principles of the free flow of information and unhindered access to it.

On April 7, Roskomnadzor announced the adoption of a number of informational and economic coercive measures against Google LLC and its information resources.

They will remain in effect until the violations of Russian legislation are eliminated.

Among the measures is informing search engines of Internet users that Google is violating Russian law.

Roskomnadzor also demanded that Google restore the websites of government agencies in search results.
