[Explanation] On April 17, at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, Hao Chun, director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office, said that the construction of China's space station is divided into two stages: key technology verification and construction. The Shenzhou 13 mission The complete success marks the perfect conclusion of the key technology verification phase of the China Space Station.

In 2022, the on-orbit construction of the Chinese space station will be completed, and a total of 6 missions are planned.

They are the launch of the Tianzhou-4 cargo spacecraft in May; the launch of the Shenzhou-14 manned spacecraft in June. The crew of the Shenzhou-14 manned spacecraft is also composed of three astronauts, who will also stay in orbit for 6 months. Time; the space station Wentian experimental module will be launched in July, and the space station Mengtian experimental module will be launched in October.

After that, the three modules of the space station will form a "T"-shaped basic configuration, and the (on-orbit) construction of the Chinese space station will be completed. After that, the Tianzhou-5 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou-15 manned spacecraft will be launched. .

[Explanation] Huang Weifen, chief designer of China's manned space engineering astronaut system, introduced that at present, the six astronauts of the two crews of Shenzhou No. 14 and No. 15 have been selected, and relevant training and preparations are being actively carried out.

At that time, both crews will fly in orbit for 6 months, and for the first time, the crew will be rotated on-orbit, realizing uninterrupted manned residency.

The fourteenth crew will cooperate with the ground to complete the assembly and construction of the space station.

They will enter the Wentian experimental cabin and the Mengtian experimental cabin for the first time to establish a manned environment; they will use the airlock cabin for the first time to carry out exit activities; they will complete the unlocking and installation of 14 cabinets in the Wentian experimental cabin and the Mengtian experimental cabin.

The flight crew of Shenzhou No. 15 will also plan to carry out several out-of-vehicle activities, carry out equipment installation, testing and debugging of in-vehicle loads, and control the robotic arm to implement the installation of out-vehicle loads; Operation management and maintenance.

[Explanation] After the Chinese space station is fully completed, the manned spaceflight project will be transferred to the application and development stage of more than ten years. The initial plan is to launch two manned spaceships and two cargo spaceships every year, and a new generation of manned spaceships will also be developed. Rockets and a new generation of manned spacecraft.

[Concurrent] Hao Chun, Director of China Manned Space Engineering Office

Astronauts must stay in orbit for a long time, carry out space science experiments and technical experiments, and take care of and maintain the space station.

The return capsule of the new generation of manned launch vehicles and the new generation of manned spacecraft can be reusable.

We will also carry out larger-scale space research experiments and new technology experiments.

In addition, especially next year (2023), we plan to launch the first large-scale space survey telescope in my country (China) to carry out wide-area survey observations, which will focus on the formation and evolution of cosmic structures, dark matter and dark energy, exoplanets and solar system objects To carry out cutting-edge scientific research, it is expected to achieve a number of major innovations.

[Explanation] Hao Chun said that in the future, he will actively explore the commercial development model of manned spaceflight, absorb social forces to participate in the construction, operation and maintenance of the space station, continuously improve the comprehensive benefits of the space station, and promote the high-quality development of manned spaceflight.
