According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission of the Tibet Autonomous Region, Liu Hushan, the former deputy secretary of the Shigatse Municipal Party Committee and mayor of the Tibet Autonomous Region, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law.

  Liu Hushan, male, Han nationality, born in July 1967, a native of Xiangtan, Hunan Province, joined the Communist Party of China in July 1987, started working in July 1987, and has an on-the-job postgraduate degree.

  From January 2009 to April 2012, he served as a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Higher People's Court of Tibet Autonomous Region;

  From April 2012 to February 2014, he served as Deputy Secretary-General of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Chengdu Office of the District Government;

  From February 2014 to December 2014, he served as the Executive Deputy Secretary of the Shigatse Prefecture Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region (at the level of the prefecture);

  From December 2014 to September 2015, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Shigatse Municipal Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress;

  From September 2015 to May 2021, he served as the deputy secretary and mayor of the Shigatse Municipal Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region;
