On April 16, the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft return capsule landed safely in the predetermined area of the Dongfeng Landing Site, and the mission was a complete success.

During this mission, a number of technical products independently developed and produced by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation provided full guarantee for the return of the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft.

"Strength and softness together" protect Shenzhou.

Every time the Shenzhou spacecraft performs a mission, the connection and separation mechanism (mainly including the pyrotechnic lock and the spring separation push rod) developed by the 111 Factory of the Third Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology of China, such as the spacecraft's freely retractable arm, is used in the take-off, orbit, docking and return of the aircraft. During the process, strong connection and timely separation of various cabin sections helped Shenzhou return safely.

  Radar "ruler" escorts smooth flight.

During the Shenzhou 13 manned flight mission, the two measuring radars developed by 23 Institute of the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry of China ensured the whole process, like a "ruler" to measure real-time accurate data to provide the command center and provide effective targets for front search and rescue The landing point data will escort the returner to land safely.

The two radars are mainly used to complete the tracking and measurement tasks of various returners. The core task of one measurement radar is to undertake the tracking and measurement of the returner in the black barrier area; Track and measure the process from the opening of the umbrella to the landing, and stand on the last post of the recovery task.

  Smart "brake" provides precision guarantee.

In the last few meters of the Shenzhou 13 spacecraft returning to the landing, the "gamma brake commander" at the bottom of the return capsule measured the speed and altitude of the return capsule.

When the spacecraft's return capsule landed to a predetermined altitude, the reverse thrust engine ignition command was accurately issued, so that the return capsule landed smoothly under the action of reverse thrust, ensuring that the astronauts returned home safely and comfortably.

The "Gamma Brake Commander" developed by the 35th Institute of the Third Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry of China is the key equipment of the spacecraft and has been successfully used in the Shenzhou 8 to Shenzhou 12 spacecraft.

In order to provide the astronauts with the best landing experience, the research and development team has conducted sufficient tests in terms of speed adaptive matching altitude control to ensure that the core control is accurate and in place.

Search and rescue "secret net" to protect and return home safely.

The search and rescue information system independently developed by the 706 Institute of the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry of China participated in the Shenzhou 13 manned flight mission throughout the whole process, and weaved a search and rescue "dense net" to protect the astronauts returning home safely.

The search and rescue information system uses multi-source signals to track spacecraft and recovery sites in real time, and provides services for the astronauts' search and rescue missions throughout the entire process of situation control and command scheduling. It is a key system for space station missions to achieve astronaut rescue support.
