Jordan Bardella, acting president of the National Rally, is the guest of Sonia Mabrouk this Sunday morning.

The MEP drew up a critical assessment of the outgoing president, accusing Emmanuel Macron of an "authoritarian drift" and a "brutal" management of the Yellow Vests crisis.

A week before the second round of the presidential election, Jordan Bardella came to defend the project of the candidate of the National Rally on the set of Europe 1 and CNews.

Faced with Emmanuel Macron's attack during his meeting in Marseille on Saturday, which pointed to "the danger of the far right which strikes blows to freedoms", the MEP was sharp.

A five-year period marked by tensions

"You would think the description of his own five-year term," he attacks.

According to him, there is "a form of authoritarian drift" in the management of the Covid-19 crisis, but he also criticizes "the brutality towards the French people, the brutality with which they managed this Yellow Vests crisis in committing violence against the population".

For the interim president of the RN, the results of Emmanuel Macron's five-year term are marked by tensions and a need for harmony in the country.

"I think that Emmanuel Macron is an authoritarian, extremist candidate, who has done a lot of harm to our country", he castigates, evoking "insults" towards the French people.
