During Easter Eve, the Sámi Grand Prix was decided - a competition in both singing and yoik.

On to the gold final in the singing class of the six entries went - Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso with Dovdameahttumii and Soá with Áiggi Mielde.

The Jojk part's two finalists - both from the Swedish part of Sápmi were Jörgen Stenberg from Malå and Sara-Elvira Kuhmunen from Jokkmokk.

After these finalists were voted on, the counter was reset and the four finalists were allowed to enter the stage again.

Yoik with concerns about the climate

First out in the gold final for yokers - Jörgen Stenberg with Skilkedh.

He conveyed his frustration, anxiety and rage and in the interview he described his thoughts on, among other things, the climate impact and its effects on the reindeer grazing.

Sara-Elvira Kuhmunen's contribution Čuvggodit has been described as a yoik about getting out of the darkness and into the light.

Soá, who was first out in the gold final in song with Àiggi Mielde, has lyrics and music by Ellinor Skartland and Andreas Gundersen.

Soá are the trio Ellinor Skartland from Tana, David Cariano from Oslo / Portugal and Andreas Gundersen Timme from Trana.

Ingá-Máret Gauo-Juuso was the last artist out with her Dovdameahttumii which was the song that took gold after the most votes tonight.
