17-year-old Engla Sennerlin Holm from FKC Karlskrona has now competed in her first junior world championship in fencing.

The competition took place in Dubai and lasted for three days where the Karlskrona fencer competed both individually and in teams.

It went best in the team competition, where she together with Emma Fransson from Kalmar Fencing Club, Selma Abu Eid Tjulin from Lidingö Fencing Club and Moa Maaninka from Kungsbacka Fencing Club, ended up in fourth place.

In the match for third place, the team met the USA and then lost by only the score 43-45.

- It means an incredible deal to me to be able to compete in the WC, says Engla Sennerlin Holm.
