“Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft in the air 15 km south of the village of Izyum,” the ministry said in a statement.
In total, since the beginning of the Russian special military operation, 133 aircraft, 458 unmanned aerial vehicles, 246 air defense systems, 2,246 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 252 MLRS, 981 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 2,146 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
On April 11, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, reported on two Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft shot down in the Izyum region.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of Su-30SM and Su-35 sorties that destroyed the Ukrainian radar station and the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft system.
