Prison for a sexual predator who attacked women who responded to an advertisement to take care of their mother

The investigation began at the beginning of the year when a woman reported, at the El Prat de Llobregat police station, that in April 2021 she had suffered a sexual assault in an apartment in the same town.

The woman explained that a man had held her against her will and had sexually assaulted her in addition to kicking her in the belly, and that she did not report the facts beforehand because the aggressor had threatened to expel her from the country, since she did not have a residence permit. in Spain.

The agents found out that the suspect had contacted, in just one week, at least, with five women who offered services of caregivers in advertisements of similar characteristics through an Internet advertisement portal, offering them a job taking care of their mother.

Some of the women with whom the suspect contacted by telephone did not suffer the attack because they mistrusted each other and it was not clear to him whether they would come to the first contact accompanied or not.

It was the case of a woman who mistrusted the fact that she offered to get into her vehicle to go to her apartment and that she did not give him her telephone number, although she asked him repeatedly.

Finally, the man did not show up for the appointment.

Through the first victim, the investigators contacted a second victim, who reported the same modus operandi used by the alleged perpetrator.

In this case, the events date back to April 2021. A man contacted her by phone from a hidden number to interview her on the occasion of an advertisement she had placed, on the same internet portal, to offer herself as a caregiver for the elderly.

Once inside her home, the man allegedly touched her.

The victim managed to escape and flee the house.

After arresting the alleged assailant, the agents continue to investigate to find out if there are more victims.

The detainee, who had no record, passed on April 9 before the El Prat del Llobregat
