Emmanuel Macron held his big meeting between the two rounds this Saturday in Marseille, less than ten days before the second round against Emmanuel Macron.

Faced with Pierre de Vilno, the guests of Europe Soir Week-End analyzed his speech, which was particularly focused on ecology.

The outgoing president, candidate for re-election held a meeting this Saturday, April 16 in Marseille.

In front of a few thousand people, he promised a "complete renewal" of his policy, saying he had "heard" the message of the first round where the rebellious Jean-Luc Mélenchon, champion of ecological planning, almost caused surprise and access in the second round. 

He notably promised a Prime Minister "directly in charge of ecological planning", "supported by two strong ministers".

A "minister of energy planning", who "will have the mission of making France the first major nation to get out of oil, gas and coal".

"A predominant place for ecology" 

"I think this is one of the first moments when we see what Emmanuel Macron's vision would be in terms of public policies for the five-year term", explains William Thay, president of the Think Tank Le Millenaire. 

“He was inspired by what is being done in Japan with a super ministry of economy and finance and he duplicates this model for ecology. He puts ecology at the heart of politics during interministerial meetings. would give a predominant place to ecology", he analyzes.
