The Easter weekend started for the lucky ones this Friday, and with the good weather, many French people, sometimes already on vacation, are going to resorts.

This is the case in a campsite in Houlgate, in Calvados, where the deputy director affirms at the microphone of Europe 1 that everything is already complete.

REPORT

The start of the Easter weekend, and the holidays in zones A and B are two good news for tourism professionals.

After two years of pandemic, the resorts will be able to refuel this weekend, like the camping de la Plage in Houlgate, in Calvados.

Its assistant manager Sébastien Barester is betting a lot on this weekend.

"It's the first big weekend of the year," he explains at the microphone of Europe 1.

His establishment is full for the Easter holidays.

"We are well organized," adds Sébastien Barester.

"The holidaymakers arrive, we welcome them, we take them directly to their accommodation and then we leave them alone to enjoy their stay", explains the deputy director of the campsite, with a smile.

Good weather awaits

An additional advantage for the establishment of Houlgate: the good weather.

"The weather is really nice for this weekend. I think people will be very happy to enjoy their view of the sea. It will allow our holidaymakers to have a great Easter this year", adds Sébastien Barester.

The Calvados campsite is also planning for the next important periods to come.

"It will of course be linked with the weekend of Ascension and Pentecost. We can already refuse a lot of people from elsewhere", he notes, "it's starting to book for Easter the next year", adds the assistant director of the campsite.
