With limited exceptions, Austria cancels the wearing of the muzzle in all closed places

Austria announced the easing of Corona's precautionary measures again, and the abolition of the mandatory wearing of the muzzle in all closed places, provided that the decision enters into force starting tomorrow, Saturday, while maintaining limited exceptions.

Austrian Health Minister Johannes Rauch said that the exceptions are in hospitals, nursing homes, places where basic goods are sold, and in public transportation, pointing out that the work of the "G3" rule has been suspended in restaurants, cafes, hotels and various events, allowing entry of all individuals without restrictions.

The Minister of Health attributed the main reason behind facilitating the procedures to a significant improvement in the epidemiological situation, a decrease in the number of infections, and the stability of conditions in hospitals and health care institutions, expecting the situation to remain stable during the coming period.
