The trick of Umrah and olives did not work.. Thwarting the smuggling of 141 thousand Captagon pills in Saudi Arabia

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Saudi Arabia, at Al-Haditha port, thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than 141,000 Captagon pills, which were found hidden in the luggage of travelers who came to the Kingdom for the purpose of performing Umrah.

The authority explained that while taking customs procedures for passengers of one of the buses coming to the Kingdom through Al-Haditha port, 141,831 Captagon pills were found in the luggage of two passengers, by placing the pills inside plastic gallons containing olive oil, where the pills were hidden in an artistic way inside the gallons.

The authority confirmed in this regard that the smugglers are seeking to exploit everything to introduce such contraband and others into the Kingdom, and that smugglers may take advantage of such days that witness the Umrah season, but thanks to God, the authority is standing by all its land, sea and air customs ports in the face of their attempts. The miserable and seeks to combat drug smuggling of all kinds and forms, in addition to its relentless pursuit to unify efforts and achieve complementary work with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, in order to achieve national security and protect its capabilities from these pests.
