Seduce environmentalists and rebellious people.

This is Emmanuel Macron's goal before the second round.

He was in Le Havre on Thursday, the city of his former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, who nevertheless placed Jean Luc Mélenchon in the lead last Sunday, with just over 30% of the vote.

The candidate president visited the Siemens Gamesa factory producing offshore wind turbines.

Seduction mission for Emmanuel Macron, who seek to convince environmentalists and rebellious people to vote for him in the second round.

"Who is an ecologist and can vote Ms. Le Pen?"

A trip to talk about energy and the environment, promising to enrich its program.

But it will take more to convince green and rebellious voters.

On this ground of ecology, Emmanuel Macron wants above all to mark his difference with Marine Le Pen.

By multiplying the attacks against his rival whom he qualifies as climatosceptic.

"Who is an environmentalist and can vote for Ms. Le Pen?" Asks the head of state.

"You have to present it to me because it is the only project that assumes to break all the frameworks and not to respect the ecological pact and the commitments of France", he castigates.

No immediate announcements

This young woman, who came to challenge the candidate president, is waiting for something concrete.

"Yannick Jadot had good ideas in the circular economy. What are you thinking about? What are you going to take over," she asks the president.

"The time will come and I will tell you," replied the latter.

No immediate announcements, but new promises of opening.

"I'm not going to propose Jean-Luc Mélenchon's project tomorrow or propose Yannick Jadot's project, that's obvious," said the outgoing president.

"On the other hand, I find that it is a good democratic breathing if in coherence with the project that I carry, I say that I can add such or such thing".

A project that Emmanuel Macron does not intend to completely disrupt.
