A dramatic accident at work occurred this Friday at the start of the afternoon in Brest, reports

While workers were working on the site of a future medical center, a concrete slab suddenly collapsed shortly after 2 p.m.
The accident claimed the life of a 55-year-old man who was crushed to death by the slab.
Four other workers were slightly injured and transported to the Cavale Blanche hospital in Brest.
Very shocked, a sixth person was also taken care of by the emergency services.
A total of 40 firefighters responded to the scene of the accident.
An investigation, entrusted to the police, has been opened to shed light on this tragedy.
