Since Wednesday, hundreds of students have been mobilizing in Paris, Nancy or Reims to protest against the result of the first round of the presidential elections and to challenge politicians on ecological and social issues.

At the Sorbonne, after a general meeting on Wednesday attended by hundreds of students, some had decided to stay on the premises.

A few streets away, 150 students blocked the entrance to Science Po Paris at 27 rue Saint-Guillaume, where President Emmanuel Macron notably studied.

“On the night of April 14 to 15, the people occupying the site of the

Sorbonne since Wednesday April 13 have left the premises, ”said the rectorate in a press release.
