According to the alarm that came just before 12 o'clock on Friday, white smoke came from a silo at the heating plant.

Adam Dahlberg, internal commander of the rescue service, says that about ten units are on site or on the way.

- We have some type of fire in both transport fire and silo.

So far, there is no spread into the heating plant itself.

It is peat that is burning, and probably also parts of the conveyor belt and silo, but Dahlberg can not yet appreciate the seriousness or extent of the fire.

- There is a risk that the heating plant can not be used, he says.

The difficulty can be accessing the fire, he explains.

- Conveyor belts are usually quite closed so you have to open up and turn off.
