“Some of the ships of the permanent NATO Maritime Rapid Response Group SNMG1 entered the Baltic Sea.

The remaining ships will arrive on Friday at the old cruise terminal of the Port of Tallinn,” the statement said.

It is noted that the primary task of the grouping of ships is to demonstrate the presence of allies in the Baltic Sea region, as well as to conduct joint exercises with the Estonian Navy.

Earlier it became known that the ships of the NATO countries delivered military equipment and equipment to Estonia in order to replenish the supplies of the bloc's battle group led by the UK in the country.
